Mission Trips
A faith-focused volunteer, Dr. Paul Drago is fulfilled by the opportunity to go on mission trips with his church. He has completed numerous mission trips over the years, both in the United States and abroad. One of Drago’s favorite mission trips was to the Caribbean, where he volunteered for the benefit of people in the Dominican Republic. Most recently, Drago packed up his expertise in Cosmetic Procedures and his knowledge as an ENT Specialist for a mission trip with Operation Smile.
Operation Smile
Operation Smile is an international medical charity that provides free reconstructive surgery and related health care to children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate, or other facial deformities. Founded in 1982 by Dr. William P. Magee, Jr., and his wife Kathleen, Operation Smile has provided more than 220,000 free surgeries to children in over 60 countries. In addition to surgery, Operation Smile provides comprehensive support to families before, during, and after surgery, including mentoring, psychological support, and medical follow-up care. Operation Smile's global network of medical volunteers and staff work together to create new smiles, new beginnings, and new hope for children and families around the world.
